What’s the ultimate way to achieve wellness, satisfaction, and peace of mind?

Harmony in the soul, mind and body is the key to ultimate wellness and happiness. But, like any desirable state of being, it requires effort. Achieving wellness in a fast-paced world seems often more difficult than we expect. It takes awareness, time and energy to become more aligned with the things we desire. By turning our focus to the areas of our lives where we can achieve more wellness, we begin to attain peace of mind, happiness and fulfillment. Additionally, when we dedicate ourselves to practicing daily rituals, recognizing our habits and focusing on energy that circulates in and out of our lives, we can enhance the connection we have to our highest potential selves.


- Sleep is an act of self-love. Sleep plays a vital role in our overall health. Getting enough sleep and ensuring good quality sleep is a key to maintaining good physical and mental health. Lack of sleep has been associated with high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, heart problems and reducing mental alertness. It also affects glucose levels, endocrine function and hormone production. Lack of sleep is known to increase levels of cortisone, a hormone that, in high levels, can lead to many age-related problems, diseases and even consumption of high-calorie dense foods and the central deposition of fat.

- Meditate. Meditation gives us a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit both our emotional well-being and our overall health. Meditation brings us back to who we truly are – which is an infinite pure consciousness. Set 15-mins daily morning meditation to start your day with clarity and a few moments of gratitude before you go to bed.


- Adopt an attitude of gratitude. Adopting a gratitude practice helps us to shine light on situations in our lives, especially in the most challenging circumstances. The energy of gratitude awakens a harmonious frequency within us that ripples out and you’ll notice things start to fall into place. Like attracts like – this is the Law of Attraction.


- Live in the moment. Mindfully live in the present moment and stop re-visiting the past and projecting desires towards a future state that never actually becomes real.


- Acceptance and let go. Welcome all aspects of your experience and allowing things to ‘be’ just they are, rather than wishing things were different. Acknowledge life as it is and handle it through acceptance and problem-solving.


- Make time for YOU. Set aside a time for you to simply enjoy yourself. Sit in nature – under a tree, on a mountain, dance, paint, read a book, travel – and let yourself simply be. Do things that make your soul happy.


- Keep active and eat healthy. Eating foods that are good for you and staying physically active play a major role in our health and well-being, so keep moving and eat mindfully.


- Build Connection. Establish positive relationships that bring you growth. Create a mutually supportive relationship. Remember that one of the true joys of life is sharing life with others.


- Live a life with a purpose. Each of us has a mission to make an impact on this planet. Make a meaningful difference in someone else’s life without expectation of personal gain.
